Growing in Australia

Chocolate Thai is best suited to growers with some previous experience. Its sativa influence favours consistent light, airflow and canopy management, while its moderate final height makes it more manageable than many traditional tropical selections. Hot, dry and temperate Australian conditions can suit this cultivar, provided humidity and seasonal rainfall are monitored.

For outdoor cultivation, spring planting generally falls between September and November. Choose a sunny, well-ventilated position and allow enough space between plants to support airflow. Where late-season rain or coastal humidity is common, regular inspection can help reduce the risk of mould around dense floral growth. Cultivation requirements differ between Australian states and territories, so growers should check the rules that apply in their location.

Indoor
