Growing in Australia

This intermediate-level cultivar is suited to temperate and hot, dry Australian conditions. Outdoor planting is generally planned for spring, from September to November, once local temperatures are reliably suitable. Choose a sunny position with airflow, well-draining soil and enough room for plants that may reach 200 cm.

Regional conditions differ considerably across Australia. Humid areas call for careful spacing and canopy management to reduce mould risk, while hot inland locations may require protection from intense afternoon heat and rapid moisture loss.
