The aromatic profile can combine earthy, nutty and woody notes with pungent diesel, pepper, herbs, garlic and spice. Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene are frequently associated with the profile. Growing in Australia

White Truffle is considered an intermediate-level cultivar that generally suits hot, dry and temperate Australian conditions. Consistent airflow and humidity control are important because its dense flowers may hold moisture. Where cultivation is permitted, outdoor planting usually aligns with spring, from September to November. Local climate, latitude and seasonal weather should guide the final timing.

Plants may develop broad foliage, strong lateral growth and closely spaced flowering sites. Gentle canopy management can improve light distribution and help reduce mould risk. Check local and state or territory requirements before acquiring or growing seeds, as rules vary across Australia.

Indoor

Indoors, White Truffle may reach up to 120 cm and generally responds well to an even canopy. Light pruning, low-stress shaping and selective removal of crowded inner growth can support airflow without placing unnecessary pressure on the plant. Stable temperatures and good extraction are useful once its strong diesel, garlic and earthy aromas emerge.

Harvest

Australian outdoor harvest commonly falls between March and May. Rather than relying only on the calendar, assess flower maturity, seasonal rain and overnight humidity. Mature plants can display deep green to purple colour beneath a heavy resin coating, paired with an increasingly pungent, nutty and peppery scent. Careful handling and a gradual post-harvest drying process can help retain aroma and overall flower quality.
